The Cake Is A Lie

Moving Image / Game-Engine Cinematic

The Cake Is A Lie is a self-directed moving image work built with the language of a fictional game trailer. Through a strange player-character, reward-like visual cues, and a world structured around repetition and progress, the project reflects on how play, labour, fatigue, and algorithmic desire begin to resemble one another.

DX3906

Real-Time Audiovisual Performance

DX3906 is a real-time audiovisual performance developed in Unreal Engine and driven by Open Sound Control (OSC) data. Sound continuously reshapes a digital ecosystem of reactive forms, particles, and spatial events, transforming the performance into a living system that evolves with each sonic gesture.

Deep Sea Challenger

Audiovisual Performance

Deep Sea Challenger is a live audiovisual performance that imagines a fictional descent into the deepest regions of the ocean. Developed through generative imagery, creature design, and cinematic sound, the work builds a speculative underwater world populated by unfamiliar marine organisms, moving between scientific exploration and dreamlike fiction.

Life is the Universe Developing a Memory

Interactive New Media Installation

Life is the Universe Developing a Memory is an interactive new media installation, developed as a complete, production-ready proposal. The work creates a single-viewer encounter with a non-human ecological consciousness, accessed through slowness, listening, and physical attunement rather than control. At its centre is a biomorphic sculptural controller with motion sensors and vibration feedback.

The Woman Pope

Worldbuilding & Creative Direction / Animation

The Woman Pope is a historical animated drama series in development, set in 9th-century Rome and centred on the visual world of Johanna - a woman navigating faith, power, and survival within a deeply patriarchal religious order. As Creative Director, I translate the early scripts into a coherent visual language for an animated proof of concept.

Chapel of Bones

Worldbuilding & Creative Direction / Animation

Chapel of Bones is a gothic animated short film developed as a festival-oriented independent production for Soul Sailor Studio, following a dark, symbolic visual language shaped by religious architecture, ritual atmosphere, memory, and bodily transformation. As Creative Director, I developed the film from early concept to final delivery.

Aerolace

Character & Environment Design

Aerolace is a self-directed character and environment design project built around the archetype of the wounded healer. The work imagines a musician-creature whose injury has transformed into an instrument: a body that does not hide its wound, but turns it into sound. Set within a pale, flooded landscape, the figure appears as both organism and ritual object.
